Support Rum’s Eg with Small Business Saturday

Bell Street gallery, Rum’s Eg are inviting everyone to get involved in the innovative campaign ‘Small Business Saturday’ later this week.

Originally launched in the U.S, Small Business Saturday support the small companies sector by encouraging citizens to shop at local businesses.

American President Obama was out in his local bookshop last weekend to launch the campaign and this year will see the first Small Business Saturday in the UK, held on one of the busiest shopping days of the year - the first Saturday in December.

Director of Rum’s Eg Siriol Sherlock says

‘This initiative is a wonderful reminder of all the great products that are available locally and the importance of supporting local retailers who contribute so much to creating the community in which we live. Romsey is the perfect place for hassle free Christmas shopping, in a thoroughly festive atmosphere’.
